Dr. William Boyd, DMD
As a Nebraska native, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska before heading to Arizona to pursue dentistry at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine.
After practicing dentistry in Arizona for eight years, he and his wife, Lauren, along with their two children, moved to South Carolina to be closer to family and lay down roots at The Dental Retreat at Mountain Park.
Dr. Boyd is committed to offering personalized attention, ensuring every patient feels cared for and receives the quality treatment they deserve. While in Arizona, Dr. Boyd’s commitment to excellence in dentistry was honored with the prestigious XP Platinum Award for his exceptional patient care, a reflection of his dedication to putting patients first.
Dr. Jon Julian, DDS
Dr. Julian received his Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School in 1978 after doing his undergraduate work at the University of Kansas. A native Kansan, Jon had a dental practice in McPherson, KS until 2011 and then made a big life change by moving to South Carolina with his wife, Karen, to open The Dental Retreat at Mountain Park.
Jon’s passion for providing excellent dentistry and for forming trusted relationships with his patients motivate him to make The Dental Retreat one of the best dental providers in the South.
Dr. Julian maintains an active membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation. Past memberships include the Academy of Laser Dentistry and International College of Oral Implantologists. He lectures extensively on dental implants, CBCT technology and on the use of lasers in dentistry.

Originally from East Tennessee, Tammy made the Upstate her home in the late 1990s. A graduate of Greenville Technical College, she has been a dedicated registered dental hygienist since 2014. Tammy is passionate about providing exceptional care, educating her patients, and helping them overcome dental fears. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels fully informed, comfortable, and leaves their visit with a smile.
When she’s not in the office, Tammy loves renovating her farmhouse, tending to her garden, and exploring the great outdoors with her two wonderful children, Zachary and Alyvia. Deeply grounded in her faith, Tammy cherishes the time she spends with her family and friends.

Inna brought her passion for dental care to South Carolina in the summer of 2022 after relocating from her hometown in Upstate New York. A graduate of SUNY Broome and a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2014, Inna is dedicated to making every patient feel at ease in the dental chair. For her, the best part of her work is helping patients feel confident and happy with their smiles.
Outside of the office, Inna cherishes time with her husband and two children, Sofia and Jonathan. Whether she’s exploring hiking trails, soaking up the sun at the beach, or enjoying the company of family and friends, Inna values moments that bring joy and connection.

Tracy is a dental assistant at The Dental Retreat. She is a local, residing near beautiful downtown Greenville. She is married and the mother of two adult children, Sarah and Jesse, and two adult step-children, Katelyn and Courtney. The light of Tracy’s life are her five “flawless” grandchildren!
Tracy has been assisting in the dental field for eleven years. Tracy has come to love dentistry in this practice because of the variety of procedures we have to offer! When Tracy is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, camping.

Lisa is a valued member of the front office team at The Dental Retreat and a proud Upstate native. With nearly 30 years of experience in the dental field, she brings both expertise and warmth to every patient interaction. A graduate of Greenville Technical College's dental assisting program in 1994, Lisa is also certified by the National Dental Assisting Board.
Lisa takes pride in helping patients, from answering their questions to ensuring their scheduling needs are met with care and attention.
In her free time, Lisa loves spending time with her family. You’ll often find her enjoying the serenity of the Tennessee mountains at the home she shares with her husband.

Sharda has been a valued member of The Dental Retreat’s Front Office team since 2018. Originally from India, she moved to the United States in 1988 and has brought over 30 years of accounting expertise to her role.
For Sharda, the best part of working at The Dental Retreat is connecting with patients. She loves hearing their stories and finds joy in seeing them leave with a smile, making every day unique and rewarding.
Outside of work, Sharda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, experimenting in the kitchen, diving into a good book, and exploring new destinations through travel.
